Athlete: Skylar Owner: Barb Deg Date: August 29, 2010 Event: Cape Breton Kennel Club Dog Shows and Trials Comment: Skylar and I took the plunge into competitive obedience and he gave me the ride of my life. On our first trial weekend out of the Novice A class we came home with 2 legs towards his CD and a HIT under judge Ronald Marks. Thrilled with the Big Red Dog is putting in mildly.

Athlete: Diva Owner: Veronica Chipman Date: August 18, 2010 Event: Fetch Agility Trial Comment: Diva earned her Bronze Award of Merit under our good friend and judge, Hayley Warner. So proud of my Sheltie girl.

Athlete: Logan Owner: Ann Morris Date: August 15, 2010 Event: Campaign Dog Academy, Halton Hills Comment: The weekend following the 2010 AAC Nationals where Logan made it to the Steeplechase Finals, he earned his Silver Award of Merit, Silver Excellent Standard and Steeplechase Title under the illustrious Ms. Carolyn Dockrill. He becomes only the Second English Cocker to achieve the Silver Award of Merit.

Athlete: Susie Owner: Brigitte Eisengruber Date: August 8, 2010 Event: AAC Nationals, Spruce Meadows, Calgary Comment: Susie placed second with a final Aggregate Score of 500.80 in 6" Veterans double drop. I am so proud of her and I think she placed best of all dogs from CAANS club. I love my little girl!

Athlete: Paikea Owner: Gay Harley Date: August 7, 2010 Event: Pawrates of the Atlantic, Flyball Tournament, Lunenburg, NS Comment: Paikea made her debut in the fast and furious world of flyball and managed to earn two titles on her first day in spite of sharing a spot in ‘height dog’ position on the Maple Leaps “Heat” team. Her team won first place and she can add the titles Flyball Dog (FD), and Flyball Dog Excellent (FDX) to her resume.

Athlete: Kerby Owner: Audrey Wambolt Date: July 18, 2010 Event: Master's Agility Trial Comment: Kerby received his silver on July 19th.

Athlete: Henry Owner: Diane Dunlop Date: July 17, 2010 Event: Master's Agility Trial Comment: I cannot imagine doing nothing more than running with my partner on an agility course on my 50th birthday . Henry on July 17th, under Judge Brenda Juskow, at the Master trial, received his silver award of merit with his expert standard silver. Henry provided me with memories I will never forget on this special birthday. This has been a great journey so far with my buddy. I never imagined we would come this far. Henry our journey is not finished yet. Great job little buddy, you are the best!

Athlete: Ajax Owner: Elizabeth Webber Date: July 17/18,2010 Event: Australian Shepherd Club of New England Herding Trial (Maine) Comment: Ajax Q'd on Ducks and Sheep on Saturday. On Sunday, he Q'd on Cattle, Sheep, and Ducks. Five entries - five Q's! That's my boy!

Athlete: Jag Owner: Rick Whiting Date: July 17 Event: Master's Agility Trial Comment: Jag...was top masters gamblers dog Specials and Vets.

Athlete: Ricochet Owner: Donna Fulton Date: July 17/18,2010 Event: Australian Shepherd Club of New England Herding Trial (Maine) Comment: Ricochet Q'd on Ducks and Sheep on Satruday, and on Sheep on Sunday. Way to go old girl, you make me look like I know what I'm doing.

Athlete: Razamataz Owner: Cindy MacKeen Date: July 10, 2010 Event: Lady Slipper Kennel Club shows in PEI Comment: Ch. Mersey Gunna Razamataz Ya ( Taz) earned his Rally Excellent B title! And he was Excellent!! He also earned his first 2 legs of his PCD!

Athlete: Pixie Owner: Cindy MacKeen Date: July 10, 2010 Event: Lady Slipper Kennel Club shows in PEI Comment: BIS Ch. Fwaggle's Black Orchid, CGN (Pixie) got her second Best In Show! She also placed 1st in both shows on Sunday!

Athlete: Sting Owner: Carolyn Dockrill Date: June 12/13, 2010 Event: CAANS Agility Trial Comment: Sting was Top Masters Dog at the CAANS June trial.

Athlete: Cabot Owner: Wendy Coffen Rudolph Date: May Event: Various Shows Comment: The old boy entered the Rally ring a couple of times in May. ... At the Dartmouth Kennel Club show, he earned two Advanced legs to finish his CKC Rally Advanced title. The very next weekend, at the CARO trial hosted by Happy Paws, he got the final leg needed to finish his CARO Rally Excellent title! We waited four years for a chance to get that final leg and with that and his 13th Birthday around the corner, Cabot is officially fully retired. "On the books", he retires as Beinnbhreagh's Cabot Discovery, AGN, AGNS, RA, CGN, ATChC, Bronze AoM, EXSt Bronze, EXJ Bronze, EXG Bronze, Versatility Bronze, RECL It's been an amazing ride with the old fella!

Athlete: Kit Katt Owner: Wendy Coffen Rudolph Date: May Event: Various Shows Comment: Kit Katt had a chance to show her "obedient" side at the Dartmouth Kennel Club in May, earning her CKC Rally Novice title. In June, back in the agility ring at the Fetch trial, she earned her SGDC. Katt followed that up at the CAANS trial where she had a great weekend and was named Top Advanced Dog! Shortly after that, on a road trip to FAME in Moncton, got her 3rd Advanced Snooker Q to move up to Masters. Oh my......

Athlete: Georgie Owner: Beverley Lawson Date: June 23 Event: Fetch Agility Trial Comment: A Silver for the grey ghost! Georgie earned her Silver Award of Merit June 23 at the Fetch trial. We finally got our act together in the same standard run! What a girl!

Athlete: Lexie Owner: Robin & Jeff King Date: June 20 Event: FAME Agility Trial Comment: What a come back for Lexie and Robin after a year off. In the past five weeks Lexie has received her Advanced Agility Dog of Canada, and today at Fame she recieved her Masters Agility Dog of Canada. Congrats to you both.

Athlete: Haillie Comet Owner: Diane Dunlop Date: June 9 Event: Fetch Agility Trial Comment: Haillie Comet, while being wild and furious, received her starter games title at the Fetch trial on June 9th. Watch out big brother Henry.

Athlete: Kit Katt Owner: Wendy Rudolph Date: May & June Event: AAC Trials Comment: At the CAANS Trial in April, Kit Katt finished the ADC title. At the Fetch trial June 9, she moved to Advanced in everything by getting a Snooker Q to finish her Starters Games Title. Having lots of fun with this girl! Athlete: Rocky Owner: Richard Morris Date: May Event: CPE Nationals Comment: Rocky, Zab and Logan travelled to Florida to take part in the 2010 CPE Nationals. All three did exceptionally well, winning or placing in their respective Groups. Old Richard and Young Rocky finished High in Trial for the Specialist Division, I was really proud of them. Athlete: Tannin Owner: Tara Doiron Date: May 29, 2010 Event: Evangeline Kennel Club Trial Comment: Tannin got the last leg required for his CD!! The old hound dog went 3 for 3 - who would of thought?! YAY TAN!!

Athlete: Trekk Owner: Beverley Lawson Date: May 23, 2010 Event: Tantramar Kennel Club Show Comment: Trekk earned his breed Championship on May 23 at the Tantramar Kennel Club show in Amherst Although he is now CH Icon's Trekking East, he willl always be my Trekk-man, the LB (little bugger). With the 'pretty boy' stuff out of the way it's time to focus on what really matters - performance!

Athlete: Brooklyn Owner: Janice Redden Date: May 15, 2010 Event: True North Agility Trial Comment: Brooklyn earned her MAD title under judge Cheryl Newman. I am so proud of her and her four canine brothers and sisters think she is just the greatest!

Athlete: Ajax Owner: Elizabeth Webber Date: 2010 Event: Various Comment: Ajax has been awarded the Top Australian Cattle Dog in Obedience for 2009 by Dogs In Canada.

Athlete: Diva Owner: Veronica Chipman Date: May 16, 2010 Event: True North Agility Trial Comment: Diva achieved her ATChC on May 16 under judge Cheryl Newman. Diva is catching up with her big sis!

On Saturday Paikea earned her MAD with two Standard legs in a row. And on Sunday she earned her Advanced Games title with that final illusive Snooker run.

Athlete: Payne Owner: Carolyn Dockrill Date: May 15, 2010 Event: True North Agility Trial Comment: Payne achieved his Starters title at the TNA trial.

Athlete: Zab Owner: Ann Morris Date: April 11, 2010 Event: CAANS Agility Trial Comment: Hey big brother, I'm right behind you, I earned my Silver Award of Merit at the recent CAANS trial.

Athlete: Brandy Owner: Veronica Chipman Date: April 11, 2010 Event: CAANS Agility Trial Comment: Brandy got her fourth Masters Gamble at the first CAANS trial of the year on April 10. With that one gamble she got her MGDC, ATChC and Bronze Award of Merit! I am so proud of my little girl.

Athlete: Evil Owner: Carolyn Dockrill Date: April 10/11, 2010 Event: CAANS Agility Trial Comment: Evil was Top Masters Dog at CAANS April 10/11 trial. Seven out of seven Q's.

Athlete: Sting Owner: Carolyn Dockrill Date: April 10, 2010 Event: CAANS Agility Trial Comment: Sting earned his Silver Award of Merit at CAANS's first trial of the season.

Athlete: Beamer Owner: Rick Whiting Date: March 28, 2010 Event: True North Agility Trial Comment: Beamer got his Silver at the TNA trial March 28, 2010.

Athlete: Tannin Owner: Tara Doiron Date: 2010 Event: Halifax Kennel Club Comment: Tannin and I did it, we entered the CKC Obedience Ring!! Tannin showed himself well going 2 for 2 … earning a High in Class on Saturday and a 3rd Place on Sunday!!
